Client Advocate, Stephine McCoy, explains the care and concern given every client who enters our doors.
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.
2 Corinthians 5:20
She does not know Jesus and is without hope.
We offer her a safe haven. We treat her with respect and kindness. We share Christ’s unconditional love. We share the Gospel and plant or water a seed of belief. We share her joy when she accepts Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior. We know a seed is planted even if she does not receive. We pray with her and for her.
She has had an abortion and is weighted by guilt.
We assure her that she will not be judged in our center. We share the Word that assures her forgiveness is available. We offer literature that helps her understand she is not alone and explain that what she is feeling is common to many post abortive women. We encourage her to attend a Bible study specifically for post abortion women. We pray with her and for her.
She has decided to abort her child if she is pregnant.
We offer compassion. We look for internal and external pressures to abort. We try to help her recognize her support group. We share a non-graphic video and literature that explains factual information about abortion. We share the Word and God’s perspective for life. We arrange for an ultrasound and a view into the womb. We pray for the unborn child. We pray with and for her.
She is sexually active and promiscuous.
We tell her she is worthy of and deserves more. We share videos and literature that explain the dangers of STDs. We encourage her to be tested and refer her to a clinic. We share the Word and God’s perspective on sex. We explain the mercy of the Lord to restore wholeness. We pray with and for her.
She is not pregnant but needs help.
We provide her with well researched referrals. We pray with her and for her.
She is pregnant and needs help.
We show her the Blessing Room filled with maternity, nursery, and baby items available at no cost. We encourage her to join the Life Education Assistance Program (LEAP). We mentor her and her support group as they attend the LEAP classes. We are overwhelmed as we witness God’s life changing power not only in our client but also in those who accompany her. We provide her with well researched referrals. We share her joy as she selects items from the Blessing Room for her child. We share her joy when she returns to show us her new born. We pray with her and for her.
She accepts or rededicates her life to Christ.
We encourage her to come to our beginner Bible Study. We encourage her to attend church. We pray with her and for her.
